The Family Place - Kid's Place
The Kid’s Place is a free service open to all families in the community with children ages 11 and under. Scheduled weekly care for 2 hours (lasting 6 months generally), crisis care (available 24/7), date night (available in Hyrum and Smithfield on Saturdays from 5-9 pm), and foster and adoption resources.

Childcare Assistance Program
Child Care Assistance programs help parents cover the cost of child care. Once approved for child care, the payment is sent directly to the provider selected by the parent (provider must be accepted by DWS). Childcare assistance will be reviewed every 12 months, income limit during the review period is 85% of the state median income limit, families experiencing permanent or temporary employment or household changes may be eligible for continued child care assistance.

GRANDfamilies is a support, advocacy, educational and crisis intervention program designed to provide information and support to kinship families so that the needs of safety and permanency for children can be met.
GRANDfamilies provides free services to all kinship families, regardless of their involvement with child welfare. Free services include: case management, psycho-educational classes for caregivers/adolescents/children, friend 2 friend events, and clinical services
