  • Short Term Assistance for Rent (START) - BRAG Utah

    The Short Term Assistance for Rent (START) program provides short-term rental assistance to low-income families experiencing homelessness and those who are at risk of homelessness. The program also provides hotel vouchers (when funds are available) to those families who are experiencing homelessness.

  • Housing Voucher Program - BRAG Utah

    The Housing Authority administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program, formerly known as Section 8. The purpose of the program is to provide monthly rental assistance as a long term assistance to eligible households. The Housing Authority does not own any housing. Program participants must locate their own housing that is approved by the Housing Authority.

  • CAPSA - Emergency Shelter

    CAPSA provides a safe place for individuals and/or families escaping domestic violence and/or sexual abuse. CAPSA shelters men, women and their accompanied children for an average of 26 days.

    The William A. Burnard (W.A.B.) Warming Center strengthens our community by providing safety, warmth, and care for unhoused individuals and families on the coldest nights of the year in Cache Valley, Utah.

  • HEAT Utility Assistance Program

    The Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) program provides utility assistance to low-income households targeting those who are truly vulnerable – the lowest-income households with the highest heating costs, the disabled, elderly, and families with preschool-age children.

  • Bear River Association of Governments (BRAG)

    BRAG is an extension of city and county governments in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties in Utah. BRAG provides a wide array of services for low-income households, seniors, and persons with disabilities, and provides community and economic development technical assistance to local governments.

    Services include: homeless services & prevention, long-term rental assistance, utilities & repairs, home ownership & rentals, aging/disability/veteran services, transportation assistance financial assistance, employment assistance and more.
